As we approach the end of Summer, we are coming into our busiest month of the year, with several production dates planned through August and early September. The work on “Bridge to Babylon” continues as we press on with our history of the Bible series. THE CHRISTIAN MILITIA OF CENTRAL AFRICA – 8.6.2014
Chris discusses the story of the Anti-Balaka of the Central African Republic, a Christian militia group that has arisen to fight against the Islamic regime in that country. The movement began in response to the Islamic takeover of the government that resulted in the rape and murder of countless Christians. Now it is reported that they may drive out the Muslims entirely from that part of the world.
THE POPE'S TOP TEN – 8.4.2014
Chris discusses a recent story about Pope Francis's top ten list of tips for a happy life. "Don't Proselytize" is one of his recommendations. The Pope actually says that "religious proselytism ... paralyses" and is disrespectful towards the beliefs of others. How then would Christians preach the Gospel? And do God's servants in the Scripture respect the beliefs of pagans and idolators? Also featured is an NOTR interview with Theodore Shoebat of the website SHOEBAT.com. Chris answers the concerns of several listeners concerning the ministry's defense of historic Roman Catholicism. Does SHOEBAT.com actually support the Roman Inquisition?
